International is a private international development company that works for
bilateral and multilateral donors and the private sector to manage projects in
developing countries.
About USAID Project:
Chemonics is seeking to implement an
anticipated five year, $35 million USAID Social and Behavior Change for
Transformation (SBC4T) project in Uganda. SBC4T aims to promote adoption of
behaviors — by individuals, households, and communities — for improved health
and development outcomes. We are looking for individuals who have a passion for
helping people lead healthy lives around the world.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in finance, business,
management, or other relevant discipline; master’s degree preferred - At least five years of experience managing a multi-million grants
portfolio ($2 million minimum), including at least three years of
experience managing international donor-funded grants programs - Demonstrated experience managing USAID-funded grants under
cooperative agreements or contracts required - Understanding of applicable policies and procedures on financial
management, competitive procurement, determination of responsibility, cost
share, grants management, and capacity building of local partners required - Excellent communication and writing skills in English
- Demonstrated leadership, versatility, and integrity
