About US:

The
Leadership Code (Amendment) Act 2017 established the Leadership Code Tribunal,
consisting of a Chairperson, Deputy Chairperson and three other Members. For
effective performance of the functions of the Tribunal, the Act provides for a
Registrar of the Tribunal, other Officers and Staff as may be necessary.
Section 19 A (2) provides that the Officers and staff of the Tribunal shall be
appointed by the Public Service Commission, on terms and conditions determined
by the Public Service Commission.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

·        
Assisting
in developing and implementing legal policies and procedures in line with the
Leadership Code Tribunal mandate;

·        
Assisting
in evaluating submissions and using findings to make appropriate
recommendations for handling the submissions;

·        
Carrying
out research on all relevant laws and other subsidiary legislations to guide
the Tribunal;

·        
Assisting
in developing and implementing a framework for delivering quality services in
line with the set policies and procedures of the Tribunal;

·        
Assembling
case materials and summarizing information for Court processes;

·        
Assisting
in compiling documented complaints and cases and preparing monthly, quarterly
and annual reports in line with the set policies and procedures;

·        
Any
other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

Qualifications,
Skills and Experience:

·        
Applicants
should be Ugandans holding an Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Law from a
recognized University/Institution plus a Post Graduate Diploma in Legal
Practice from the Law Development Centre.
