fax/data, internet and mobile services.

Job Summary:  The Supervisor IT Projects will manage the
Technical & non-technical projects implementation in Uganda and these are
Multi-Vendor Deliveries and In addition, the position is entrusted with
ensuring workmanship quality.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Ensure projects are    
    executed using best practice Project management guidelines.
  • Implement projects as per scope finalized with MTN Group.
  • Attend projects steercom to keep the team updated on projects
    progress and seeks approvals required at each stage in the project.
  • Ensure regular project reporting as per business requirements.
  • Ensure that all components of this project are implemented within
    specified timelines and within quality plan.
  • Ensure handover of all completed projects to the respective internal
    customers.
  • Prepare project timelines with fully interdependence in the project
    activities.
  • Ensuring all projects follow customer centricity guidelines.
  • Properly Manage Project Contracts, procurements, documentation and
    project risks.
  • Project human resource management

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

  • The ideal candidate for the MTN Uganda Supervisor IT Projects
    job placement should hold a First degree in any related discipline
  • At least three years of experience leading a technical team from
    Scoping to Delivery and support so that the E2E Project charter is clearly
    understood and practice
  • At least three years of experience in leading a project team to
    successful delivery
  • Computer literacy (MS Office, Visio)
  • Project Management certifications
