organization that supports nonprofits to develop programmes that are
effective and sustainable.
Job Summary: The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning Expert
will be the key technical person responsible for monitoring and ensure that
organizational activities and results are achieved in a cost effective and
timely manner. Will be responsible for designing and implementing the M&E
framework and activities of the projects and support resource mobilization
function. It is a senior position with the purpose to strengthen a learning and
evidence – based approach to programming within IIDC and across the partner
organisations.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal applicant for the Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning
Expert job placement must hold a Masters in Project Planning and
Management, Monitoring & Evaluation or A post graduate training in
project M&E at Diploma or any related field; - Bachelor’s in Statistics, Economics, Social Work and Social
Administration or related field; - Ten (10) years working experience in Monitoring, Evaluation and
Learning - Consultancy experience in Monitoring
& Evaluation and Familiar with outcome mapping - Practical knowledge and experience in
offering technical assistance / knowledge transfer - Demonstrated organizational, analytical
and leadership skills - Knowledge of statistical computer
packages e.g. SPSS, EPI-INFO etc - Ability to communicate in Swahili; Affiliation/membership to M&E
Associations and experience and knowledge on the development of theory of
change is desirable. - Personal attributes:
Skills in: Excellent report writing, training and mentoring,
communication, presentation and good interpersonal); mature; committed;
very analytical; resilient and flexible; a learner for self and others.
