funded by the U.S Agency for International Development (USAID).

About USAID Project:

The USAID funded PMI
VectorLink Uganda Project supports the Presidents Malaria Initiative (PMI) in
the planning and implementing IRS program with the overall goal of reducing the
burden of malaria in 15 districts in Lango region and eastern Uganda. The
project implements IRS program in collaboration with the Ministry of Health
National Malaria Control Division through cost effective commodity procurement,
logistics system and access to technical expertise.

Job Summary:  The District Coordinator performs programmatic
and management oversight for all aspects of the project’s spray operations,
including campaign planning, technical assistance and training, logistical and
operational support and supervision, and activity tracking and reporting. She
will coordinate closely with government counterparts, and oversee the
activities of project field staff and seasonal spray teams. 

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

·        
The
applicant must hold a Bachelor’s Degree

·        
Three
years of related work experience

·        
Proven ability
to work with a minimum of direction and supervision.

·        
Demonstrated
ability to work both as a member of a team and as a team leader, with the
ability to accept the inputs of other team members.

·        
Strong
management and planning skills of project tasks and budgets.

·        
Demonstrates
leadership and team work and produces high quality work in a timely cost
effective manner and has excellent writing skills.

·        
Excellent
interpersonal communications and organizational skills.

·        
Excellent
computer skills, computer software programs, including MS Word, Excel and
PowerPoint.

·        
Experience
with USAID funded programs and for other international development experience.

·        
English
language fluency.
