Job Summary: The Project Manager, BPRM is responsible for
the overall coordination, planning, management and completion of SCI’s projects.
The PM will work closely with the project team and liaise with other functional
managers to ensure day to day activities are implemented within the established
framework for the project, timescales, budget and quality.
S/he will
continually monitor all aspects of project performance by instituting the use
of necessary project management processes and tools. He/She will ensure that
projects are delivered on time, within budget and that every other person
working for the project fulfils their responsibilities to make this a reality.
By default, the PM will be the budget holder for the project and will be
expected to provide strategic and operational leadership to develop and
implement a successful program.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The candidate for the Save the Children International Project
Manager, BPRM job placement should have seven years of work experience
with a minimum 5 years in project management of projects in an
international NGO or similar organization. - Demonstrable experience in all phases of project management.
- Demonstrable experience in monitoring budgets
- Proven team and personnel management experience
- Proven analytical and strategic planning skills
- Decision-making and leadership skills and excellent time management
capacities - Highly developed interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure, independently and with limited
supervision - Creative problem-solving skills
- Willingness to learn new skills and methodologies
- Strong verbal and written communications skills
