international HIV charity delivering quality care and treatment, prevention
work, rehabilitation, training, education and health strengthening in the UK
and East Africa. Mildmay Uganda is a faith- based local Non-Governmental
Organisation (NGO) offering Comprehensive HIV Care & treatment, Training,
Research & General Medical Services; also providing Health Systems
Strengthening to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of
Central Uganda.

Job Summary:    The Hub Rider will ensure that the
laboratory samples are routinely picked from health facilities and delivered to
the Laboratory hub at the designated Hospital/Health Centre IV and results of
the same delivered back to the health facilities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

• The ideal candidate for the Mildmay Hub Rider job opportunity must
  be a qualified Laboratory Assistant (Certificate in Medical Laboratory
  Technology)
• At least three years’ experience in riding organisation motor bikes
  and experience in working with community based organizations.
• Successful candidate must possess a valid driving Permit with Class
  A and a Certificate in defensive driving.
• The successful candidate should also have demonstrable knowledge of
  motor bike operations and mechanics plus knowledge of traffic laws and
  regulations.
• Experience and training in Shipment of Biomedical products, plus
  Training in Bio safety and Bio security is an added advantage.
