Job Summary:  The GPS Tracking Officer will manage various
assignments connected with GPS tracking of the fleet of vehicles.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Scanning both GPS trackers and sim
    cards.
  • Testing the trackers and configuring
    them to match with the server.
  • Importing the details into the GPS Wox
    system.
  • Overall data processing and management.
  • Managing the stock of tracking devices.
    Ordering and distribution.
  • Attending to emergencies connected with
    stolen vehicles by providing the information to the emergency response
    team on the location of the vehicle.
  • This position may require working in
    shifts at night.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate must hold a Degree
    in Criminology or Security Studies, alternatively degree in ICT.
  • At least two years of experience in
    practical operations in GPS systems, ideally with GPS WOX system.
  • Excellent analytical skills, data
    handling, and communication skills.
  • Highest degree of dependability and
    commitment.
  • Excellent IT literacy, ability to
    navigate with different IT tools. MS Excel (conversant with vlookup).
  • Fluent English and Luganda in verbal and
    writing.
