human rights, and gender equality work in the context of HIV/AIDS and Health.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Assumes primary responsibility for
    planning,
  • Tasked with developing and implementing
    communication strategies to promote,
  • Manage and improve all our
    communications flows,  within and
    outside of our organization.
  • Be responsible for disseminating
    information and create awareness about UGANET programs and activities.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s
    degree in Communications, Journalism, Public relations or a related field
  • At least two years working experience in
    running advocacy campaigns on health HIV and gender in a reputable
    organization.
  • Demonstrated and extensive social media
    experience is an added advantage.
  • Candidates should be able to work
    independently with minimum supervision and guidance from the supervisor
  • Excellent written and oral English
    communication skills.
  • Knowledge of other languages is an added
    advantage.
  • He/she should have advanced working
    knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, excel and publisher
