Organisation (NGO) offering Comprehensive HIV Care & treatment, Training,
Research & General Medical Services; also providing Health Systems
Strengthening to scale up comprehensive HIV/AIDS Services in 16 districts of
Central Uganda.
Job Summary: The Finance Officer will support the Senior
Finance and Operations Officer in providing oversight of Sub Grants ensuring
compliance with funding source administrative guidelines, accurate submission
of financial reports and tracking of all donor assets.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Mildmay Finance Officer job opportunity
must hold a first Degree preferably in; B.Com (Accounting), BBA
(Accounting) with full professional qualification such as ACCA, CPA, CIMA. - Three years of work experience in middle management positions in
Accounting, Finance or Auditing field. - S/he must also have proven knowledge of donor financial accounting
procedures (multi donor reporting) and clear understanding of GOU and
IAS/AFRS accounting requirements. - Hands-on-computer skills in MS Excel and MS Word and at least one
accounting package (preferably Navision) are also desirable for this
position.
