About US:
War Child Holland
(WCH) is an International non-profit organization that has been working in
Uganda since 2004, mainly in the Lord’s Resistance Army (LRA) affected areas.
As the situation in Uganda has stabilized, WCH has closed its programs related
to the LRA conflict and started a refugee response program in early 2016 in the
West Nile region, offering psychosocial support to children, young people and
families in the refugee and host communities. In addition to psychosocial
support, the country office is in the process of establishing education
projects with partners.
Job Summary: The Logistics Coordinator will contribute
to strengthening War Child Holland’s humanitarian activities, specifically to
provide technical and daily support to Kampala and field offices on all
logistical aspects within the mission.

- Fleet Management
- Travel arrangements and coordination
- Procurement Management
- Stock and Storage Management
- Equipment Management
- Support to Field locations
- Security and Risk Management
- Documentation, Reporting, and Archiving
of operations activities
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The War Child Holland (WCH) Logistics
Coordinator job should hold a Master’s degree in Procurement &
Logistics, Transport and logistics and any other related field is
preferred. - Five years of working experience with
INGO and working with institutional donors like ECHO is preferred. - Fluent in English (spoken and written
word) - Documentation, Reporting, and Archiving
of operations activities - Security and Risk management
- Good communication skills,
service-oriented and a proactive attitude - Logical thinking skills and a practical,
hands-on mentality - Result focused and persistent to reach
goals - Technical knowledge and (basic)
technical knowledge on cars. IT knowledge is preferred. - Efficient and conscious of time
- Ability to work with a high degree of
professionalism - Accurate, consistent and transparent and
team player
