About US:
Uganda Central
Co-operative Financial Services (UCCFS) is a tertiary co-operative that
provides financial and non-financial services to all types of Co-operatives
(Apexes, Unions, SACCOs, RPOs, ACEs, and other primary Co-operatives) in
Uganda.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supporting UCCFS Member Cooperatives to functionalize their core
banking software - Ensuring that UCCFS Member Co-operatives effectively and efficiently
utilize their respective banking software - Provide Technical backup to UCCFS and Member Cooperatives in ICT
related services - Support UCCFS and member SACCOS in networking computers
- Manage UCCES M.I.S dashboard to ensure efficient utilization of the
services - Ensure compliance to ICT Manual/Policy by UCCFS staff and Member Cooperatives
- Monitoring and Supervision of all UCCFS Member Co-operatives
connected to the dashboard - Mobilizing more Co-operatives to Join UCCFS and embrace Digital
Financing - Ensure increase in uptake of Digital Financing Services (DFS) by
members of UCCFS Member Co-operatives - Acts as a link between the Software service provider and UCCFS
Member Co-operatives
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Degree preferably in Information and
Communications Technology (ICT) - One year of practical experience in ICT related fields
- Experience in the use of SAVINGS PLUS Software is an added advantage
- Ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks with minimum
Supervision - Age: 25 to 35
years
