About US:

Uganda Central
Co-operative Financial Services (UCCFS) is a tertiary co-operative that
provides financial and non-financial services to all types of Co-operatives
(Apexes, Unions, SACCOs, RPOs, ACEs, and other primary Co-operatives) in
Uganda.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Supporting UCCFS Member Cooperatives to functionalize their core
    banking software
  • Ensuring that UCCFS Member Co-operatives effectively and efficiently
    utilize their respective banking software
  • Provide Technical backup to UCCFS and Member Cooperatives in ICT
    related services
  • Support UCCFS and member SACCOS in networking computers
  • Manage UCCES M.I.S dashboard to ensure efficient utilization of the
    services
  • Ensure compliance to ICT Manual/Policy by UCCFS staff and Member Cooperatives
  • Monitoring and Supervision of all UCCFS Member Co-operatives
    connected to the dashboard
  • Mobilizing more Co-operatives to Join UCCFS and embrace Digital
    Financing
  • Ensure increase in uptake of Digital Financing Services (DFS) by
    members of UCCFS Member Co-operatives
  • Acts as a link between the Software service provider and UCCFS
    Member Co-operatives

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The applicant must hold a Degree preferably in Information and
    Communications Technology (ICT)
  • One year of practical experience in ICT related fields
  • Experience in the use of SAVINGS PLUS Software is an added advantage
  • Ability to work under pressure and on multiple tasks with minimum
    Supervision
  • Age: 25 to 35
    years
