About Role:

We are constantly
exploring disruptive ways to address the pain points faced by our different
clients – government entities, corporates, development agencies, civil society
and Non Government Organisations (NGOs).

In this role you
will leverage your strong business acumen to create a compelling business case
on-the-spot. We look for innovative ways to create/ add value to our clients
and we therefore value your opinion backed up with strong arguments and
confidence. Sometimes this path is not always clear and you are OK with it.

You will fuel the
growth of Innovation as a Service (IaaS) and shape our strategy for new and
existing business relationships. We expect you to think glocal connecting the
dots in the ecosystem, draft compelling proposals to solve pressing challenges,
and establish new meaningful client relationships – in a growing and evolving
startup environment.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

New business
development

• You proactively work with the marketing team to setup targeted
  campaigns to engage potential clients.
• You support innovation teams in their quest for new opportunities
  turning them into significant business value and results
• You generate new leads, follow up on them and work in conjunction
  with the IaaS Management team to close client contracts
• You participate in competitive tenders, and create a differentiating
  story.

Research and
Product development

• Produce, organize and maintain internal and external marketing
  material like presentation decks, case studies, competitive intelligence
  and contact lists
• You work in a structured and agile way, you guide clients through
  the different phases of innovative product or service developments and
  on-the-job collaborate with them throughout the entire process.
• You deeply understand the needs of clients and translate these into
  compelling solutions and sales proposals.
• Where needed, you create innovation materials such as tools and
  frameworks by proactively keeping yourself up-to-date on all things
  innovation.
• Conduct hands on research to identify and understand market trends,
  consumer behavior, and technological progress in order to achieve market
  validation.
• You manage various Customer Relationship Management platforms

Relationship and
project management

• Provide event production and logistical support for the different
  IaaS client facing products like Demo days, CDAs, Design workshops and
  others.
• Point of contact with the startups participating in the CDAs by
  analyzing start-up team strengths and offering mentorship on their
  business needs.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Business
  Management/ IT/ Project Management
• One year of experience in Project Management – ability to manage
  several projects with ecosystem partners and startups
• Must possess excellent communication and public speaking skills
• Critical Thinking and Problem Solving – Must be able to use logical
  reasoning to reach solutions
• Proven ability to build trusted relationships with colleagues,
  prospects and industry contacts and contribute high-impact results.
• Career driven individual with a passion for technology,
  entrepreneurship, investments and high tech start-ups (Experience working
  in a startup environment is a plus)
• Highly proficient in MS Office and G-Suite
• Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle
  uncertainty and ambiguity
