Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

·        
The
applicant must hold a Degree in Computer Science/IT, MCSE & LINUX Certification

·        
Additional
professional certifications in CCNA and CCNP will be an added advantage

·        
Three
years of related work experience

·        
Good
systems knowledge of UNIX system architecture: file systems and processes among
other vital system parameters.

·        
Good knowledge
of administration and configuration of email servers running Postfix, Qmail and
Exim with capabilities for TLS and SMTP-AUTH

·        
Good
knowledge in administration and configuration of name servers running BIND

·        
Experience
in configuration and management of RADIUS server

·        
Good
knowledge in administration and configuration of databases running on MySQL and
PostgreSQL

·        
Good
knowledge in administration and configuration of web servers running on Apache
and IIS

·        
Good
knowledge of one major system programming languages majoring in either PHP,
Perl or Shell

·        
Good
knowledge and understanding of TCP/IP networking is an added advantage

·        
Good
knowledge and understanding of Windows Server administration

·        
Good
knowledge of VoIP functionality is an added advantage

·        
Experience
in Direct Customer Support in a busy environment

·        
Proficiency
in firewall systems – CISCO, Cyber roam, etc

·        
Proficiency
in open source firewall systems

·        
Ability
to work extended hours, on-call and holidays

·        
Ability
to work in harsh weather or confined space environment of server rooms (Cold,
heat, etc).
