About US:
The Bank of Uganda
(BoU) is the Central Bank of the Republic of Uganda. It was opened on the 15th
August 1966. It is 100% owned by the Government of Uganda but it is not a
government Department. Bank of Uganda conducts all its activities in
close association with the Ministry of Finance, Planning and Economic
Development (MoFPED). Bank of Uganda is responsible for monetary policy and
maintaining price stability.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Responsible for preparation of tea and coffee to all categories of
staff in their service areas. · Takes stock of and accounts for all
service equipment and supplies issued - Responsible for setting the dining and serving lunch on time.
- Maintains and registers staff, collects cash from food sales and
remits it to the Catering Accountant. - Responsible for maintenance of high standard of hygiene of all
equipment and all the operational areas. - Performs any other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Key Results
- High quality of hot and cold beverages.
- Timely foods and beverages in all service areas.
- High standard of hygiene in all service areas·
- Accountability for all cash collections
- Inventory of all service equipment and monthly reports.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Bank of Uganda Support Staff Category 3 job
should hold a Uganda Advanced Certificate of Education (‘A’ level) and a
Certificate in Catering - Ordinary Diploma in Hotel and Institutional Catering is an added
advantage - At least three years of working experience in catering from a
reputable hotel or institution - Age: 21 -30 years
