Job Summary:    The Project Manager – Gender Equality and
Girls’ Empowerment will provide technical and management oversight to the Girls
as Drivers of Change (GADC) Project. S/he will take responsibility for
planning, implementation, monitoring and reporting on the interventions aimed
at empowering girls to be agents of change, in championing gender equality and
tackling gender-based violence (GBV).

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The candidate for the Save the Children International Project
    Manager – Gender Equality and Girls’ Empowerment job placement must hold
    a  Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate social and development field
    such as Social Science, Sociology, Gender/ Women Studies, Development
    Studies, Community Development or Rural Development Law and International
    Development.
  • Three to five years of experience working on gender development
    programming, preferably in development contexts
  • Experience in project management.
