Baylor College of
Medicine Children’s Foundation – Uganda (Baylor-Uganda) is an indigenous
not-for-profit child health and development organisation affiliated to the
Baylor College of Medicine International Paediatric AIDS Initiative (BIPAI), a
Network of paediatric HIV/AIDS care and treatment Children’s Clinical Centres
of Excellence and international program offices in 11 countries across Africa,
Eastern Europe and North America.

Job Summary:  The Program Officer will assist in the
coordination, technical assistance and monitoring of the implementation of the
HIV/TB implementation plan in the 19 cluster one districts under Baylor-Uganda
as the sub-recipient (SR) For The Global Fund/TASO Grant.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate for the Baylor-Uganda Program Officer job must
    hold a Bachelor’s Degree in a health related discipline or humanities from
    a recognized institution and Must Be Registered To Practice In Uganda.
  • A Masters in public health or related field is an added advantage.
  • Three years of experience in implementing health programs especially
    with adolescents and youth; working with a reputable NGO;
  • Working With Government Entities And District Led Technical
    Assistance Programs.
