Job Summary:  The Center Administrator will support parents,
teachers, and the Director will look to you for answers, direction and
assistance. You will be trusted with a wide range of tasks that will be
essential to the smooth running of the Center as well as to the educational
development of the children.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
Children and their
  • Be responsible for ensuring a caring and safe environment for the
    children and parents;
  • Spark imagination, build self-esteem and help children discover new
    things each day;
  • Partner with parents with a shared desire to provide the best child
    care for their children;
  • Observe, plan and implement developmentally appropriate practices to
  • Communication with parents to report children’s progress
Teachers and
  • Assist teachers with development and execution of curriculum and
    activities that contribute to the growth, education, and development of
    the children;
  • Build cohesion within the team
  • Ensure that utmost care is taken in working with children and proper
    business etiquette followed in dealing with families
  • Assist the Director in staff development and training.
  • Ensure that a conducive working environment is maintained
  • Assist the Director with the operation of the school;
  • Promote the positive image of the company and play a major role in
    marketing and making RCC a provider of choice in childcare programs for
    the communities that we service.
  • Help achieve profitability for the company.
  • Purchasing supplies, equipment, food, etc. while operating within
    budgetary guidelines;
  • Cultivate positive relationships with families, teachers, community
    contacts and corporate partners
  • Serve in various roles throughout the center as needed to ensure
    smooth running of the center.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Education, Early
    childhood education, child development, child psychology OR
    Business-related degree with experience in a childcare setting OR related
  • A love for children and a strong desire to make a difference every
  • Management experience required preferably with childcare, but will
    consider other types
  • Must be a team builder, organized and possess excellent customer
    service/communication skills.
  • Flexible and energetic
  • Ability to juggle multiple duties
  • Detail oriented with the ability to plan and organize
  • Ability to resolve conflicts
  • CPR and First Aid Certification or willingness to obtain
  • Certificate of Good Conduct obtained from INTERPOL

  • At least one year of administrative experience in programs for
    children, including program management, curriculum design and supervision
    of staff with evidence of strong leadership skills and the ability to form
    positive relations with parents
  • At least two years of early childhood education experience required,
    with an understanding of developmentally appropriate practices and the
    ability to ensure its use in the classroom
