About US:

Enabel (Belgian
development agency, formerly BTC), together with different Government
Ministries, are implementing the bilateral co-operation between Uganda &
Belgium.

Job Summary:  The Skills Development Fund Field Officer will
work under the supervision of the National Field Manager for the SSU-Ireland
Aid Project.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture,
    Economics, Business Administration, Education, Social Work and Social
    Administration;
  • At least five years of progressive experience of working with a
    reputable international nongovernmental organisation;
  • Understanding of macro logframe and sustainable livelihood Framework
    approaches in planning and development
  • Knowledge and skills to understand and interpret project proposals
    into results matrices Strong analytical skills (experience in collecting
    and analyzing data and drawing conclusions and recommendations from
    findings)
  • Experience in Grant management and implementing development TVET
    skills projects;
  • Strong computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office and
    Microsoft Excel is mandatory)
  • A positive and collaborative attitude and willingness to work in a
    team
  • Experience working with vulnerable communities and people (youth, women
  • Good written and spoken English Ng’karamajong is of an Advantage.
