development agency, formerly BTC), together with different Government
Ministries, are implementing the bilateral co-operation between Uganda &
Belgium.
Job Summary: The Skills Development Fund Field Officer will
work under the supervision of the National Field Manager for the SSU-Ireland
Aid Project.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Agriculture,
Economics, Business Administration, Education, Social Work and Social
Administration; - At least five years of progressive experience of working with a
reputable international nongovernmental organisation; - Understanding of macro logframe and sustainable livelihood Framework
approaches in planning and development - Knowledge and skills to understand and interpret project proposals
into results matrices Strong analytical skills (experience in collecting
and analyzing data and drawing conclusions and recommendations from
findings) - Experience in Grant management and implementing development TVET
skills projects; - Strong computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office and
Microsoft Excel is mandatory) - A positive and collaborative attitude and willingness to work in a
team - Experience working with vulnerable communities and people (youth, women
- Good written and spoken English Ng’karamajong is of an Advantage.
