working in a number of countries in Africa and Asia on poverty alleviation
Programs, is registered in Uganda as BRAC Uganda. The organization implements
integrated development approach combining Education, Health, Agriculture,
Livestock, Adolescent Empowerment and Microfinance.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage information flow and knowledge
transfer among the various teams and programs. - Represent BRAC Uganda to other external
parties and guide the Country Representative. - Support communication flows with BRAD
international Head Office and other BRAC Office - Establish and maintain liaison with
existing and potential partners within Uganda. - Organize visits and events.
- Identify potential areas of interventions
in line with the strategic objective and integrated approach of BRAC
Uganda. - Identify resource potentials within
Uganda for existing and new areas of intervention. - Develop and write Project Proposals for
various interventions and respond to various funding opportunities. - Develop and manage external
communications within and beyond Uganda through newsletters, blogs,
newspaper articles, diary and editing ail the electronic documents.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the BRAC
International Talent Management Officer job must hold a Master’s degree in
Communications management or a related field - At least five years of experience in
communication or related field. - Good knowledge of TOR and MOU writing and
analytical skills. » - Very good Computer skills with excellent
reporting skills. - Good interpersonal & Communication
skills. - Proficiency in Mac OS and Windows OS,
video. editing applications, mapping applications, desktop publishing
software, online applications and online social networks. - Proven planning and organizing skills.
- Willingness and ability to travel and
should be sensitive’ about other cultures, countries and people. - Skilled operator of professional film
and video equipment. - Detail oriented proof reader and editor.
