Job Summary:  The Senior Business Analyst  is responsible for analyzing of credit
applications from a business perspective, applying both financial information
and market intelligence. In liaison with the Relationship managers, prepare
credit reports for review by credit committee. He/she will support and ensure
quality credit applications are submitted to credit for onward analysis
approval..

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Review of credit requests including Financial and Credit information
  provided in respect to Corporate, Business and Personal clients financial
  information.
• Review and analyze financial statements for suitability of new credit
  customers.
• Review of CA’s from Relationship Managers and ensure they meet the
  standard requirement before submitting to credit.
• Evaluating the credit worthiness of customers and prospective
  customers.
• Preparation of credit portfolio reports for MCC and BCC.
• Prepare credit reports for new proposals. pipeline deals and
  renewals and provide guidance on structuring of credits. due diligence and
  KYC so as to ensure that credits meet bank standards.
• Reviewing new funding proposal to establish the viability of the
  project/ segment

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• The applicant for the Diamond Trust Bank Uganda Limited Senior
  Business Analyst job placement must hold an honors degree in business
  related field from a recognized university.
• Five years of experience in banking in corporate, credit, or
  business.
• Financial management and analytic skills.
• Computer literacy i.e. proficient in the use of Microsoft office
