Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Participating in transport route survey studies;
- Participating in land acquisition for the Right of Way for
pipelines; - Participating in the formulation of policies, regulations, standards
and guidelines for transport and storage facilities; - Participating in implementation of the National Strategic Plan for
petroleum transportation and storage; - Overseeing Civil Engineering aspects during pipeline design and
construction; - Participating in monitoring and inspection of pipeline design,
construction and operations; - Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicants should be Ugandans in possession of an Honours
Bachelors’ degree in Civil Engineering, or Building, or Construction
Economics, or Quantity Surveying, or any related field from a recognized
University. - Ethics and integrity; interpersonal, communication and computer
skills; ability to adapt to multi cultural settings; effective
organizational and planning skills; time management skills; technical
skills; report writing skills; negotiation skills; capacity for teamwork;
innovation and concern for results, quality and standards. - Age: Below 21
years
