Job Summary: The Farm Manager will mainly ensure maximum
yield of the farm in line with farm policies and procedures.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure strategic administration of the farm by planning, budgeting,
monitoring and documenting all the yields for the sustainability of the farm.
- Support in the development and preparation of currently used land
for farming purposes. - Ensure regular repair and maintenance of farm buildings, machinery
and equipment. - Ensure line management, regular training and capacity building of
the subordinates. - Ensure quality of the farm products.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The Farm Manager should preferably hold a Diploma in sustainable
agriculture or any other related fields. - A minimum of three years’ working experience in a similar post working
with a reputable farm. Tea & Coffee production experience preferred - Ability to use computer packages like Microsoft Office.
- Ability to plan & lead a team of employees.
- Age: Above 25
years
