needs. LWF Uganda currently has five areas of operation in Pader, Kitgum,
Adjumani, Katakwi, Sembabule, Kampala and Kamwenge Districts.
Job Summary: The Senior Administrator & Logistics
Officer will manage the Logistics, Procurement and designated Administration
team and ensure close functional collaboration with other departments to
enhance efficiency and accountability. To coordinate and supervise compilation
and presentation of quality, quantitative statistics and visibility reports for
management.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the Lutheran World Relief (LWR) Senior
Administrator & Logistics Officer job opportunity should hold
a University degree in Business Administration or related field
Professional experience; - A minimum of three years of work experience in a similar position
- Specialized training in administration and logistics is an asset;
- Administrative and logistics management experience with the NGO
system a strong asset; - Experience in capacity development and knowledge transfer,
- Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages
(MS Word, Excel, etc.) - Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and
priorities work. Attention to detail and problem-solving skills - Good working knowledge of ICT technologies (related software, phone,
email, internet and computer applications (Outlook, Word, Excel.
PowerPoint) - Professional attitude
- Good team player
- Willingness to upskill as required by the tasks to be performed
