networked branches targeting Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs of Uganda.
BRAC boasts of promoting financial inclusion by extending financial services to
the un-served and underserved, now with over 218,598 borrowing clients, over
180Bn loan book with 97% recovery rate, operationally and financially self
sustaining.
Job Summary: The Operation Rigor Supervisor will be
carrying out Know Your Customer (KYC) spot checks on branches to ensure Know
Your Customer (KYC) compliance and Anti Money Laundering (AML/KYC)
accreditation for all front office staff annually. Identify knowledge gaps and
arrange appropriate and relevant training on operations in a risk-controlled
environment across all branch network.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd Operation Rigor
Supervisor job must hold a Bachelor’s Degree or its equivalent - Four years of related work experience
- Thorough knowledge and understanding of banking operations,
processes, and regulatory requirements - Ability to deal with problems of high complexity which has a variety
of possible solutions - Ability to interpret workflows, and operational procedures—detail
oriented - Familiarity with operations in a regulated financial institution.
