Microfinance operating in Uganda covering several districts through 163
networked branches targeting Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs of Uganda.
BRAC boasts of promoting financial inclusion by extending financial services to
the un-served and underserved, now with over 218,598 borrowing clients, over
180Bn loan book with 97% recovery rate, operationally and financially self
sustaining.

Job Summary:  The Manager Branch Support will mainly upport
the branch operations structure to ensure compliance to set processes and
procedures through coaching, on-site field assessment of control environments
in the branches. Interact with branch management or third parties to ensure
compliance with Know Your Customer (KYC), Anti Money Laundering (AML/OFT).

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

  • The ideal candidate for the BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd Manager Branch
    Support job must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Business-related courses
  • A minimum of five years in banking and credit operations
  • Strong knowledge of bank policies and procedures
  • Must display strong communication (verbal & written) and
    interpersonal skills
  • Detailed orientation and ability to meet recurrent deadlines
  • Ability to lead teams with diverse backgrounds
  • Must demonstrate sound judgment, adhere to professional standards
    and exercise strict confidentiality in matters requiring discretion
