About US:
The Office of the
Prime Minister (OPM) is the Leader of Government Business in Parliament and
responsible for the coordination and implementation of Government Policies
across Ministries, Departments and other Public Institutions.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage procurements of all goods and services
- Raise, place and follow up purchase orders with suppliers in
accordance to UNHCR Guidelines - Liaise with the user departments in the development and management
of contracts - Prepare and issue approved contract documents
- Coordinate the process of prequalification of suppliers
- Organize the procurement committee meetings and serve as the
secretary of the committee - Prepare the tender documents and coordinate the tendering process in
accordance to UNHCR Procurement Guidelines and procedures - Accord prompt and courteous reception to all internal and external
clients who need information related to procurement - Maintain and archive records of the procurement process
- Any other duty assigned by supervisor
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Applicant should be a holder of a Degree in Procurement and
Logistics Management from a recognised University. A certificate in
professional supplies, logistics and procurement is an added advantage. - One year working experience is required for this position
- Age: 23 – 45 years
