tractors and equipment. In conjunction with Falcon, Agromaster & Tatu
implements plus a variety of other products. Engineering Solutions (U) Ltd. is
Uganda’s leading and most reliable agricultural supplier and partner of
tractors and agricultural implements.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Prepare annual company accounts in accordance with IFRS & GAAP
  with the support of external auditors.
• Prepare accurate and timely Management Information reports
• Support HODs with department budget analysis and management
• Analyse general ledger account balances on a daily basis to ensure
  no unusual entries  for movements
  have been recorded on the GLs.
• Review, approve and advise operations on general ledger system
  journal entries
• Create general accounting instructions, the chart of accounts and
  annual review  of sufficiency of the
  general ledger.
• Formulate analysis and inputs to support CFO & HOD’s in the
  production of the annual budget, quarterly forecasts etc.
• Coordinate month end processes to ensure reconciliations of suspense
  accounts
• Estimate project advances to be performed by all departments
• Optimise accounting for the company’s fixed assets or depreciable
  capitalized assets are properly accounted for as well as optimized as an
  accounting item.
• Supervise junior accounting staff.
• Review and monitoring performance of the junior accounting staff
• Upskill the accounting team in relevant competencies.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 

• The ideal candidate must possess Qualifications in ACCA, CPA, and or
  CFA.
• Bachelors Degree in Commerce/Business Administration/Finance &
  Accounting
