Microfinance operating in Uganda covering several districts through 163
networked branches targeting Micro, Small and Medium Entrepreneurs of Uganda.
BRAC boasts of promoting financial inclusion by extending financial services to
the un-served and underserved, now with over 218,598 borrowing clients, over
180Bn loan book with 97% recovery rate, operationally and financially self
sustaining.
Job Summary: The IT Field Officer will mainly ensure smooth
and efficient information Technology Operation at field level as well as
ensuring high availability of Disaster Recovery Site (DRS).
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate for the BRAC Uganda Bank Ltd IT Field Officer job
must hold a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in computer science, information
Technology, Business Computing - Two years of work experience in information Technology support or
related field. - Knowledge of hardware troubleshooting and repair
- Skills on windows operating system
- Knowledge of various Information Technology Security issues and
Antivirus software - Must have a strong problem-solving ability
- Ability to travel long distances
