clean-tech startup that manufactures a small-scale, affordable biogas system
that converts animal manure and food waste into clean cooking gas and a high –
quality, natural, liquid organic fertilizer for crops.
Job Summary: The Expansion Manager will conduct market
research, promote partnerships and implement market strategies.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Research and obtain an in-depth understanding of the ecosystem of
Uganda as it pertains to the adoption of HomeBiogas technology - Manage all HomeBiogas opportunities Implement marketing strategies
- Support our local partners with deep understanding of the HomeBiogas
system and ability to transfer that knowledge via education and training - Assist in building the local logistical infrastructure
- Create and execute pilot programs and POC for the HomeBiogas
products in different Segments
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree
- Two years of experience working in B2B, B20 products space
- Strong understanding of business and marketing strategies
- Critical and independent thinker
- Good technical skills — handyman style
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness and high motivation to travel within Uganda, enjoy
visits with customers in rural and peri-urban areas and accompanying
partners on field trips - MUST
- Desire to take part in an adventure that improves people’s lives!
