Limited deals in selling of quality solar products and suitable appliances for
all income groups. These include small household systems capable of powering
lights, a radio, phones, a TV and/or fridge, solar agricultural solutions for
off-grid farmers, and larger systems suitable for offices, and institutions
such as schools and health centers.
Job Summary:  The Solar Sales Agent will be responsible for
developing business opportunities, promoting and selling of solar energy
solutions within and/ or outside Kampala. The general activities include:
Growing and maintaining a sales pipeline, establishing lasting relationships
with clients, determining clients’ energy needs, System Sizing and issuing of
quotation to clients, following up on payments, representing ZeroSmoke in
renewable/solar energy exhibitions, and is responsible for attaining the
monthly sales target, while ensuring clients’ satisfaction through excellent
client care..
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Market
and sell ZeroSMoke products to individuals and firms; promote ZeroSmoke
services that meet customers’ needs. Work with potential clients to identify
their energy needs and to find ways of reaching those goals.
·        
Scan for
regions with potential market for ZeroSmoke products and develop referral
networks in order to locate prospects for potential solar system needs.
·        
Identify
and meet with potential clients to obtain information for potential solar
system needs and answer questions about the process of acquiring one.
·        
Explain
to clients the different types of solar products and services that are
available, as well as the terms of those services.
·        
Review
and update potential application and order forms to ensure that they are
complete
·        
Submit
applications and orders to your Team Leader in order to process and work on
client’s system delivery.
·        
Deliver
client’s system and ensure client completes payment upon delivery.
·        
Handle
customer complaints and take appropriate action to resolve them.
·        
Continue
to nature and monitor your client portfolio to ensure quality after sales
services are achieved.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
·        
The
ideal candidate must hold a Certificate or Diploma in Marketing, Engineering,
Business Administration. Having a Bachelor’s Degree is an added advantage
·        
Negotiation
and Communication, Information technology, Solar Energy or other related
fields;
·        
Confident
and self-driven.
·        
Entrepreneurial
mind-set with the ability to spot original branding opportunities
·        
Excellent
interpersonal skills with the ability to work well in a team.
·        
Good
oral and written communication skills
·        
Fluency
in English and at least one local language is an added advantage.
