plantations on the shores of Lake Victoria. The sweet, sparkling crystals with
their distinctive taste and flavour, and rich golden colour, have sweetened
dishes all over Uganda since the 1930s.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
•
Supervising
and monitoring the mechanical shift technicians in order to achieve the
production targets.
•
Planning
and carrying out planned preventive maintenance in the Sweets factory.
•
Maintaining
and upgrading records of machine breakdown as per ISO 9001-2015.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
•
Applicants
should be holders of Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering obtained from a
reputable University. However, applicants with Diploma in Mechanical
Engineering with practical relevant experience in confectionary industry may
also apply.
•
At least
ten to fifteen years’ experience in confectionery industry.
•
Computer
knowledge is essential
•
Knowledge
of confectionery machines e.g. Flat Lollipop, Ball Lollipop, Ball Wrapping Machine
etc. is added advantage.
