restores dignity to them by providing holistically for their physical,
spiritual and emotional needs. Watoto has operations in Kampala, Wakiso,
Mpigi and Gulu.

Job Summary:  The Primary Teachers will provide support in
planning, preparing and delivering high standards of education.

Key Duties and Responsibilities: 

•                    
To plan,
prepare and delivery lessons to students while ensuring high standards of
professional practice and quality of teaching and learning of the subjects.

•                    
To plan,
prepare and conduct lessons according to the set standards of Watoto schools
and implements teaching programs that are consistent with the ethos of the
school.

•                    
To
provide guidance and advice to students on education, social matters and future
careers to aid the young people in making good career choices.

•                    
To carry
out appropriate and fair assessment of learners progress and keep records of
all assessments on file.

•                    
To
demonstrate good stewardship of resources and property in the school by
ensuring safe custody and optimum use of equipment.

•                    
To assist
students in developing self-discipline and independence.

•                    
To
create a learning space where the needs of the students and teachers are met,
respected and protected.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

•                    
The
applicant for the Watoto Primary Teacher job opportunity should hold at
least Grade 3 teaching certificate in Education.

•                    
A
minimum of two years of experience in teaching English and Social Studies.

•                    
Good
communication and interpersonal skills.

•                    
Commitment
to work within a team environment and ability to work under minimal
supervision.
