Luzira Industrial Park, Kampala producing anti-retroviral drugs (ARVs) &
Artemisinin-based Combination Therapies (ACTs) to combat HIV/AIDS and Malaria
respectively. Founded in 2005, it is a joint venture between Uganda’s Quality
Chemicals Limited & Cipla Ltd, a leading Indian pharmaceutical company.

Job Summary: The
Information Technology Manager will be responsible for providing strategic
vision and operational IT leadership, and also be accountable for directing,
planning, organizing, and controlling all IT related functions in the Company.

planning, organizing, and controlling all IT related functions in the Company.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage information technology and computer systems
- Plan, organize, control and evaluate IT and electronic data
operations - Design, develop, implement and coordinate systems, policies and
procedures - Ensure security of data, network access and backup systems
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes
- Be a technical resource in assisting users to resolve problems with
specialized and dedicated technology systems. - Analyze the business requirements of all departments to determine
their technology needs
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer
Science, IT Engineering, or in any other closely related field from a
reputable University - Possession of NSE, SIEMC, CCNA or NCP certification will be an added
advantage - Five (5) years’ experience in a management position with broad
knowledge and experience of ICT systems management. - Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
