Job Summary:  The Procurement Officer is responsible for
ensuring that the staff of International School of Uganda are provided with the
supplies, equipment and other resources necessary to carry out their roles.
This includes providing support to the Procurement Coordinator and the
Administrative Officer – Stores.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Oversee the management of stores around the campus, ensuring that
    they are managed efficiently
  • Assist in the provision of necessary supplies, equipment and
    resources in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist in the procurement of supplies, equipment and resources, ensuring
    the purchasing is timely, to an appropriate quality and in all ways
    ethical.



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Procurement,
    Bachelor of Business Administration (Procurement) or Bachelor’s Degree in
    Supply Chain Management
  • Two years of experience in Procurement and Logistics with experience
    in multi-cultural organization.
  • Good organisational skills
  • Problem solving and decision making
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Customer Service
  • Ability to work under minimal supervision
  • Attention to detail
  • Well-developed IT skills
