Job Summary: The Machine Operator is responsible for
operating machinery within production environment at Uganda Clays limited to
produce quality products according to work orders and customer requirements and
ensuring safety and quality standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operate the de-airing mixer, ensuring that there are no air bubbles
in the extruded clay - Fit the extruder Moulds, ensuring that they will produce product
that meets the required specifications according to quality standards - Properly set the cutting parameters that will ensure proper product
dimension at all times - Ensure efficient operation of the extrusion process
- Work according to Uganda Clay’s Quality and Safety procedures at all
times
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold a Diploma in mechanical engineering
- In-depth experience in ceramic production machinery operation
- Ability to read and write and make reports
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
