Job Summary: The Data Scientist will be responsible for
elaboration and calibration of predictive models (admission scores),
statistical analysis of financial data, development of new data. The role
requires strong knowledge of Data Science, customer relationship management,
predictive and behavioral modelling and presentation capabilities with an
impeccable bias towards collaborative working. Specifically, the Data Scientist shall be
responsible for elaboration and calibration of predictive models (admission
scores), statistical analysis of financial data, development of new data driven
products such as credit collection matrices, benchmarking reports, analysis
products, and designing reports to fulfill regulator’s requirements,
preparation of data extracts for reporting and audit purposes, improve data
quality and act as a consultant to financial institutions. The Data Scientist
shall report to the Head of Information Technology and Business Intelligence.

The ideal candidate must hold a Bachelor’s
degree in any of these fields; Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Finance,
Econometrics, Business Computing, and any related field from a recognised
university. Possession of a Master’s
Degree in Data Science and or Statistics or Economics will be an added
advantage
