Job Summary:  The Accountant is mainly responsible for
bookkeeping and reporting  including but
not limited to management, financial and statutory reporting.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
                    
Preparation
of financial, management and statutory reports for both in house use and
year-end tax purposes
                    
Developing
costing models for determination of company raw materials costs and product
costs and pricing schedules.
                    
Internal
and external Payment processing
                    
In
charge of maintaining employee records including but not limited to hours,
salary, mileage and personal time off, etc.
                    
Monthly
payroll processing including the filing of payroll taxes and other statutory
deductions
                    
Maintaining
client records of billings and payments including the collection of accounts
receivable when necessary.
                    
Preparing
monthly client invoicing and vendor payments for approval and distribution
                    
Reconciling
payment receipts and statements.  
                    
Maintaining
an asset register of all assets purchased including their current state,
location and details of the custodians.
                    
Receive
and reconcile bank statements.
                    
Prepare
weekly, monthly, quarterly reports and financial analysis reports including but
not limited to financial statements, client budget reports and accounts
receivable reports, etc.
                    
Maintain
the companies computerized accounting system in an up-to-date state including
but not limited to entering all transactions, records of vendors and customers
                    
Support
the budget development process and lead the subsequent budgetary control
                    
Filing
annual statutory return for both the company and the company’s directors with
URA and any other government departments.
                    
Provide
clerical and administrative support to the office to ensure activities are
professional, organized, and well documented



Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
                    
The
applicant must hold a basic degree in Accounting
                    
At least
three years’ experience within a busy environment in the private sector
                    
Previous
experience using Quick Books and Microsoft Office products mainly Excel, Word
and Outlook.
                    
Proven ability
to work with numbers and understand a broad range of common financial matters.
                    
Have
demonstrated ability to make sound professional decisions.
                    
Be
self-directed and self
motivated.
                    
Be
willing to pursue collection of accounts receivables.
                    
High
level of attention to detail, ability to multi-task and work well under
pressure   
                    
Ability
to prioritize and meet deadlines
