About Compassion Project:
The Pentecostal
Churches of Uganda ( PCU ), Kalyamenvu United Pentecostal Church and
Pentecostal Assemblies of God have a strong partnership with compassion
international- Uganda in child ministry through sponsorship and home-based
care. They are working in partnership with Compassion International in
fulfilling the great commission as mandated by our Lord Jesus Christ in Mathew
28:16-20. This is done in a holistic approach which includes Child Development
Ministry.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Serve as an advocate for children and caregivers.
- Take lead of the children’s and sponsor’s correspondence,
communications and child updates. - Ensure monitoring and tracking of child participation in the
program. - Initiates generation of the annual health work plan and coordinates its
implementation with emphasis on prevention of diseases among others - Co-ordinates medical care and distribution of provisions
- Ensures proper documentation and record keeping oiall health
records. - Works closely with the local church in developing their childcare
ministry. - Responsible for the physical, cognitive and economic development of
the sponsored children. - Plans and co-ordinates health related trainings, information,
education and communication {IEC}
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Diploma in any of the following: Nursing,
Primary Healthcare, Community Health, Clinical Medicine, and
Education/Social Work Administration. Social Work & Social
Administration, Social Sciences, Development Studies, Education, Communication,
Records Management and any related disciplines - The applicant must be a mature born-again Christian with a sound
testimony. - Must have good interpersonal skills.
- Experience and current knowledge.
- Previous supervisory experience desired.
- Age: 25-35 years
