staff within the Business Tax Advisory team and will make technical contribution
to business tax advisory as well as Tax Compliance engagements and internal
projects. You’ll actively establish internal and external relationships. You
may participate in researching tax issues, preparing memorandums shouldn’t this
be memoranda, helping clients with responses to local or international tax
authorities, and assisting clients in maximizing tax credit claims or improving
their tax function. With a clear focus on anticipating and identifying risks,
you’ll escalate issues as appropriate. You’ll make sure that the work we
deliver is of high quality and is reviewed by the next-level reviewer.
Responsibilities
- Participate in business tax advisory and Tax Compliance engagements
- Work effectively as a team member, sharing responsibility, providing
support, maintaining communication and updating senior team members on
progress - Participate and assist in preparing for meetings with target
management teams - Assist in preparing reports and schedules that will be delivered to
clients and other parties - Develop and maintain productive working relationships with client
personnel - Build strong internal relationships

- The ideal candidates for the Ernst & Young (EY) Staff – Business
Tax jobs must hold first class or good Second Class Upper Bachelors Degree
in Accounting / Finance/Economics/Statistics/Actuarial or any Science
Degree from a recognized university. - Full or Part qualification in ACCA or CPA is an added advantage
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (other
language is a plus); - Proficient IT skills (Word, Excel, Power Point);
- Self-motivated, positive attitude
- Willingness to learn
- Excellent attention to detail with a commitment to high quality and
accuracy - Desire to exceed expectations
