Officer/Finance (Coding)
Commission, which is established under Article 60 of the Constitution of the
Republic of Uganda and mandated to conduct public elections and referenda
professionally, impartially and efficiently. It was set up under Article 60 to
67 of the 1995 Constitution of the Republic of Uganda.
II/ Cashier will effectively and efficiently handle the cash management
function in the accounts office
- Working as the Commission’s agent in Bank of Uganda responsible for
drawing cash - Making cash payments as approved
- Maintenance of the cash payment register
- Safely filing used documents and records generated in the cash
office - Maintaining petty cash
- Maintaining an accurate filing system for financial documents e.g.
URA and NSSF receipts
- The applicants for the Senior Assistant Election Officer Grade II/
Cashier job vacancy should hold a
Uganda Diploma in Business Studies - Diploma in Accounting and Finance
- Business Administration or any other business related Diploma
obtained from a recognized institution - Partial Qualification in ACCA or CPA is an Added advantage.
- At least five years of working experience at least three (3) of
which should have been in a cash/accounts office in government or a
reputable organization - High level of integrity
- Good Communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure
- Good Customer care and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of Ms. Office applications (Word and Excel)
- Good Sense of Judgment
- Age: Above 28 years
