to empower women entrepreneurs to create wealth through Capacity Building,
Networking and Advocacy.

Job Summary: The Resource Mobilization Officer must be a
strategic thinker with strong understanding of the development sector.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement and monitor UWEAL Resource Mobilization Strategy.
- Identify and retain potential donors/partners that much UWEAL’s
objectives. - Develop, manage and update a database of Donors/Partners.
- Lead in grant proposal writing.
- Ensure donors disburse, approved funds/resource on time.
- Prepare timely accurate reports for donors
- Build UWEAL staff capacity in Resource Mobilization &
management. - Ensure Resource Mobilization Information is shared on the UWEAL
website.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The ideal candidate must hold an advanced University degree from a
recognized education institution in any of the following area: Social
Sciences, Business Administration, Public Relations, Development Studies or
any other related areas - A minimum of five years of professional experience in grant writing,
capacity building, resource mobilization - Good knowledge of proposal and grant writing experience
- Experience working in membership Organization with clear focus on
women, livelihoods, grant writing and advocacy. - Strong organizational skills, with an ability to effectively manage
multiple tasks simultaneously. - Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, in English
