Job Summary:  The Project Monitoring and Evaluation Officer
must be knowledgeable and experienced in Monitoring and Evaluation field
(especially in setting up and managing systems, data processing and analysis)
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Develop project monitoring and
    evaluation tools
  • Oversee project data collection
  • Review project performance monitoring
    and evaluation plans
  • Manage day to day operations of the
    Monitoring and Evaluation system
  • Provide technical Monitoring and
    Evaluation support during grant proposal development/review
  • Support Project field staff in continued
    use of Monitoring and Evaluation tools/instruments
  • Project data validation
  • Staff training/capacity building
  • M & E Reporting
  • Supervise Project Data staff

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The ideal candidate must be a University
    graduate in Social Sciences / Economics / Bio statistics / Development Studies
    or any other related field
  • Post graduate qualifications in
    Monitoring and Evaluation (added advantage)
  • A minimum of three years of related work
    experience
  • Good team player
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines
    with minimum supervision
  • Computer literate and able to multitask
  • Excellent interpersonal and English
    communication skills (oral & written).
  • Prior experience in Project Planning and
    implementation or programming is a must
  • Practicing and committed to the values
    of Church of Uganda
  • Willingness to work long hours including
    weekends/public holidays and ability to travel extensively across the
    Province
  • Self-motivated individual with high
    level of integrity
  • Project writing skills
  • Innovative skills
  • Supervisory skills
