Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Reviewing and recording monthly Field Reports in Navision Reviewing
    project related Accounts Payable invoices for compliance and coding
  • Providing guidance to Field Accountants and Project Managers
    regarding financial/accounting issues and USAID regulations
  • Assist Project Team with budget tracking and Estimates to Complete
  • Prepare monthly invoices to clients including NICRA adjustments
  • Work with Project Managers to identify and resolve any discrepancies
    relating to billings Respond to clients queries and prepare adhoc financial
    reporting, as needed
  • Resolve billed and unbilled Accounts Receivable issues
  • Conduct regular desktop reviews of monthly field financial reports
    for accuracy, allowability, and reasonableness
  • Prepare monthly G/L Reconciliations
  • Assist with preparation of annual incurred Costs Submission
  • Assist and support annual, project and US Government audits
  • Assist with financial and compliance audits for field offices
  • Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Experience: 
  • The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or
    Finance. Possession of ACCA /CPA or at Final stage is desired
  • At least three years of accounting experience with a government
    contractor working with USAID programs is desired. Strong knowledge of
    Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Federal Acquisition
    Regulation (FAR). Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Possession of Advanced Skills in Microsoft applications and
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) preferred.
