Key Duties and Responsibilities:

Reviewing and recording monthly Field Reports in Navision Reviewing
project related Accounts Payable invoices for compliance and coding
Providing guidance to Field Accountants and Project Managers
regarding financial/accounting issues and USAID regulations
Assist Project Team with budget tracking and Estimates to Complete
Prepare monthly invoices to clients including NICRA adjustments
Work with Project Managers to identify and resolve any discrepancies
relating to billings Respond to clients queries and prepare adhoc financial
reporting, as needed
Resolve billed and unbilled Accounts Receivable issues
Conduct regular desktop reviews of monthly field financial reports
for accuracy, allowability, and reasonableness
Prepare monthly G/L Reconciliations
Assist with preparation of annual incurred Costs Submission
Assist and support annual, project and US Government audits
Assist with ﬁnancial and compliance audits for field offices
Perform any other duties as assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:

The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or
Finance. Possession of ACCA /CPA or at Final stage is desired
At least three years of accounting experience with a government
contractor working with USAID programs is desired. Strong knowledge of
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and Federal Acquisition
Regulation (FAR). Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Possession of Advanced Skills in Microsoft applications and
QuickBooks.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) preferred.
