About US:
The Government of
Uganda (GoU) has received credit from the international Fund for Agricultural
Development (IFAD) towards financing a ten-year National Oil Palm Project
(NOPP). The project will be implemented by the Ministry of Agriculture Animal
Industry and Fisheries (MAAIF) as the Lead Agency. Implementation will also
involve other partners including other Ministries, agencies, District Local
Governments and private sector players with strong public and private sector
partnership in project implementation.

Job Summary:  The Monitoring, Evaluation and Learning
(ME&L) Manager will have overall responsibility for the coordination of the
timely establishment, operation and maintenance of the Project M&E system;
for the generation of knowledge and evidence; and for the communication of
Project activities, achievements and lessons learned. He/she will also have
specific responsibility for managing “Policy and Institutional Support for Oil
Palm Sector development”.
