About US:
The Lotteries and
Gaming Regulatory Board (LGRB) is a body corporate established under the
Lotteries and Gaming Act No. 7 of 2016 which came into effect on 8th April
2016. The Act is supported by a set of 5 Regulations which came into effect on
28th May 2016.  The law mandates the Board to regulate the operations of
lotteries, casinos and betting houses (Industry).
Job Summary:  The Manager Enforcement will oversee and
manage enforcement activities at National Gaming Board in line with the
provisions of relevant laws and regulations
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
  • Manage supervision and review of enforcement work plans.
  • Manage assessment of general industrial enforcement risks and
    develop risk management strategies.
  • Supervise identification of gaming issues that require follow up,
    investigations and / or enforcement actions.
  • Coordinate dissemination of written policies and procedures related
    to enforcement activities.
  • Manage investigations into gaming operators’ legal status and file
    enforcement briefs and reports with stakeholders.
  • Coordinate preparation of activity and regular reports to the
    Director Legal and Board affairs as per the directorate guidelines
  • Managing the performance and development of staff under his
    supervision in line with NGB performance management system
  • Carryout any other duties as assigned by the line Director or CEO of
    the National Gaming Board.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • The applicant for the Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (LGRB)
    Manager Enforcement job opportunity should hold an Honor’s Bachelor’s
    Degree in Social Sciences or Commerce or Business Administration or Law or
    any other relevant course in Humanities from a recognized University .
  • A Master’s degree in Law, Business Administration or Social Sciences
  • Any other relevant qualification will be an added advantage
  • At least five years of relevant working experience 3 of which should
    have been gained at Senior Management level in a reputable organization.
