The mandate of
Uganda Hotel and Tourism Training Institute is derived from statute No.14
of 1999 and the universities and other tertiary institutions Act of 2001.

for re-establishment of UHTTI under the Ministry of Tourism.

Job Summary: The Instructor Pastry and Bakery will mainly
instruct and assess students in the various fields of study.

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Applicants should be Ugandans holding an Honors Bachelors Degree in
Hotel Management or related field from a recognized
university/institution. - A minimum of three years of working experience as pastry chef/ cook
in a recognized Hotel or Bakery or any other recognized hospitality
organisation. - Applicants with Honours Bachelor’s Degree in Vocational studies with
Education with a Diploma in Pastry and Bakery or of Uganda Hotel and
Tourism Training Institute Hotel Management in addition to ii. Above are
encouraged to apply. - Ugandan Graduates of ITH Salzburg are highly encouraged
