Job Summary: The Head of Operations will ensure regulatory
compliance, risk mitigation and enhance business profitability through the
development, implementation and monitoring of business policies, processes and
procedures as well as internal controls.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Formulate operational department strategy development and
implementation. - Effective and efficient management of the operations department.
- In charge of Operations process development and monitoring to ensure
compliance. - Implement effective internal controls to mitigate risk.
- Support effective implementation of bank systems.
- Keep abreast of the statutory banking policies updates,
implementation and compliance on part of Tropical bank. - Build and lead an effective and cohesive operations team
- Prudently manage resources within set budgets
- Monitor, and evaluate department and staff performance.
- Ensure the Bank’s core processing features meet service
expectations. - Responsible for branch Operation and e-Banking operational elements,
internal policies and procedures. - Monitors and reports operational volume, trends, risk elements, and
fraud. - Oversees the Bank’s Business Continuity Plan, Policy & training.
- Ensures the delivery of high quality service standards to internal
clients.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant must hold a Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline
- At least ten years of experience in the bank operations environment. Operations proficiency in Core Banking platforms, online banking
platforms, - Ms. Office
- Knowledge of Banking or Financial Services Act.
- Good reporting and communication skills.
