The Lotteries and
Gaming Regulatory Board (LGRB) is a body corporate established under the
Lotteries and Gaming Act No. 7 of 2016 which came into effect on 8th April
2016. The Act is supported by a set of 5 Regulations which came into effect on
28th May 2016. The law mandates the Board to regulate the operations of
lotteries, casinos and betting houses (Industry).

Job Summary: The Front Desk Officer will receive and direct
NGB visitors to respective offices, disseminate relevant information and comply
with customer care standards and programs for NGB in line with the
Organization’s work plans and guidelines.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinate incoming and outgoing phone calls and maintain records of
calls made and received in line with Departmental Guidelines. - Receive, register and direct visitors / clients to relevant offices
in line with Organizations Guidelines. - Track staff deployments and maintain an updated organizational
telephone directory. - Provide information about NGB services in line with existing
Organization’s policies and procedures - Make reports on problems related to receiving and sending telephone
calls in line with customer care guideline - Ensuring proper coordination between the internal and external
customers and Stakeholders.
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- The applicant for the Lotteries and Gaming Regulatory Board (LGRB)
Front Desk Officer job opportunity should hold a Bachelor’s Degree in
Public relations, journalism, Office Management or other any related
courses. - At least three years of experience in managing a reception in a
reputable organization. - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
