is a leading Human Resource Consultancy. They are recruiting on behalf of a
valuable client, a commercial farm based in Zirobwe.
Key Duties and Responsibilities: 
·        
Direct
and coordinate activities of farm workers, such as planting, weeding, chemical
application, harvesting, grading, payroll, and record keeping
·        
Plan,
coordinate and execute farm work assignments, set priorities and manage the
work of subordinate employees as per set priorities
·        
Coordinate
a wide range of farm activities such as land preparation, planting, weeding and
spraying as well as harvesting and post-harvesting activities
·        
Prepare
and implement the company’s annual agricultural Program.
·        
Oversee
and coordinate the timely repair of farm machinery and equipment
·        
Ensure
all farm grain, fertilizers, pesticides and other basic requirements are
ordered and stored correctly, and as per agreed seasonal plans.
·        
Procure
timely seed, fertilizer, pesticides and spare parts
·        
Appraise
the performance of Farm staff
·        
Maintain
records of all aspects of farm operations and prepare monthly progress reports
showing achievements against targets with justification for performance
variances.
·        
Identify
staff development and training

Qualifications, Skills & Experience:
·        
The
applicant must hold a Degree or relevant qualification in Agriculture or a
related discipline
·        
Five years
of experience as a Farm Manager
·        
Must
have commercial farm management experience
·        
Strong
team management, supervisory and motivational skills
·        
Strong
interpersonal skills
·        
Results
oriented
·        
Strong
project management skills
·        
Record
management skills
